It is really quiet

Its a shame cos I was excited when I saw the forum and thought all the useful stuff that I could learn here

I guess the problem is because it is so quiet people forget to keep checking back and it gets more and more quiet

Sad

well, the thing to do is to keep posting, and then people will reply. I think our antispam measures made it slightly more difficult to post, and maybe that put some people off - but on the bright side, we're no longer buried under a barrage of spam, much of which was highly unsuitable. The forum needs a restart, and you people are best placed to make it happen!

Hello All.

Yes well, I am guilty that I sometimes am so busy that I don't get the chance to check the forum but my new year resolution is to check it a bit more often.

Dave has got a new laptop and I am hoping to be able to use that as I can never get him off his computer! Wink

Just joined and see that there is very little posting since 2008/9.
Maybe Admin should remove the "members" from the list who are spammers?

Hello Boysee,

Have you been spammed by a current member?

Cheers,

Pete

Yes. Many of these will have been automated subscriptions, but since the posting rules were changed, these spam-bots are unable to post or IM, so they just sit in the member list.

I can't delete a member just for looking suspicious, I would need to see a transgression - and since the spambots are unable to transgress anymore, they must remain, silent and suspicious. Smile
